Finally finished that godforsaken book and that review is dead on. I'm glad I finished it, but when I got to the end I was pissed. "Lazy" what the first word that came to mind. What the hell Haruki?? I hope this doesn't deter you ladies from checking out his other stuff someday.
Jane: Agreed. I'm interested in reading his other books because everything I've heard points to 1Q84 being an anomaly.
